Maniac Man's real identity is a mystery. It is believed Maniac Man is Andy Fritz, however on several occasions Maniac Man and Andy Fritz have appeared together on stage. Also in a 2008 issue of Unremarkable Tales, a short story described the origins of a man very similiar in appearance and description to Maniac Man, however this character's costume was light blue. In the 2009 television series Snack Party, Maniac Man wears a white suit while being interviewed by Mr. Banana. Maniac Man's philosophies and actions are always questionable, in theory he stands for courage and his actions prove he is either not scared of anything or he is completely insane. He will usually accept any dare involving jumping off of things, punching things or breaking things. Maniac Man stands up for what he believes in, however what he believes in is a mixture of fantasy and insane delusions of grandeur. Maniac Man is tough but he is not a great fighter, probably because he thinks he is more powerful then he really is. And when he gets beat up he makes a lot of excuses. He gets beat up a lot. He often does a lot of strange things like sticking out his tongue and gyrating his hips. He probably does this because he wants people to like him. He does have many friends and acquaintances and he can be seen in pictures laughing it up poolside with Buddy, at the dance party sponsored by a national energy drink, fighting with Future Man, exploiting Narobi for his own personal gain, fighting with Joomba and fighting with The Beatle. The Maniac Man's favorite catch phrase is "You will pay for this!" But when he says this he is being quite literal and works with lawyers to effectively sue the people he fights with for damages. After a fight with The Beatle, Maniac Man had suffered a pulverized front Incisor. After getting the bill for the dental work, he sued The Beatle in smalls claims court. The Judge in the trial found Maniac Man was faulted for instigating the fight and threw the case out. Maniac Man then had a emotional outburst and the Judge had him held for being in contempt of court. |
